Peer Support Services

Peer support can be extremely beneficial in facing the challenges of life and recovering from addictions and trauma. Peer support groups are run by trained volunteers. Support groups and individual peer support are available for those dealing with sexual and substance addictions, post-abortion issues, recovery from physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, as well as family and relationship issues.

The staff at the UVCCC are also available to make informative, topical presentations on relationships, coping, mental health issues, or spiritual development. Previous presentations topics include subjects such as:

  • Dealing with Conflict
  • Reducing Anxiety
  • Finding Freedom from Perfectionism
  • Coping with the Unexpected
  • Going Deeper in Relationships.

In addition, we offer consulting for organizations, churches, businesses, and schools. We are available to assist with team-building, problem-solving, and other organizational needs.
